Republicans who rail against the government will turn around and ask for more funding for community health centers in their state. And who snuck those community health centers into bill after bill? Bernie Sanders. He's a savvy politician who can get things done even when it requires overcoming the opposition of the other side. They may not admit it, but they'll take the money and millions of people will get the help they need. He will also go out on his own: he personally took elderly constituents over the border to Canada to get cheaper drugs. He's not [only] consistently advocated for reforms to make prescription drugs cheaper, as a steadfast advocate of the elderly, disabled, and veterans, he's also consistently pushed for better COLAs for Social Security. This is important because when people don't get big enough COLAs, they start skimping on healthcare - cutting their pills in half - and then they get sick. Then, we have to pay for it through Medicare and Medicaid. When we have 29 million people without insurance and 33 million people underinsured, those underinsured people are paying through nose for premiums and copays.
November 14 was World Diabetes Day, instituted to raise awareness about this scourge which today affects 350 million people worldwide - a figure that is rising - and one which often hits the poorest hardest. The UNO called on the pharmaceutical companies to do more to help, as the death rate is set to double by 2030. Diabetes is a chronic disease which over a period of time seriously affects the body's organs, increasing the risk of Cardio Vascular Accidents, kidney failure, bad circulation leading to amputation, blindness and death. It is caused by the inability of the pancreas to produce sufficient insulin (Type 1 diabetes), or the incapacity of the body to use the insulin it produces (Type 2 diabetes). Predictably, 277 million of the 346 million people living with diabetes reside in the developing countries, where according to the United Nations Organization, the disease is becoming increasingly prevalent. In his address on World Diabetes Day, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon stated "Too often, the disease hits the poorest especially hard, leading to heart attacks, strokes, blindness, limb amputations, kidney failure and premature death".

I declined this last option also, because I do not want my vehicle, a large van with items in it, set up on a tow truck. I also can't afford that upfront expense, nor do I feel it's appropriate for me to have to do all this leg work for them. They told me nothing would be resolved until I accepted one of their three options. Are they in the right? I've been without a vehicle for several days and I'd like to know what my options are, as they've also declined to cover a rental. EDIT: I'll also note that they've explicitly refused my repeated request for them to communicate with me in writing.
While there are still tons of consumers on DSL or cable plans, fiber optic is the superior choice and is rapidly gaining in popularity. It can deliver much faster upload and download speeds than other internet options, without any drawbacks. TV is also seeing its latest advancements come with fiber optic cables. The fiber optic providers now have TV, phone and internet available over their state-of-the-art fiber optic networks. As far as how the services work, they are the same over fiber optic cables as they are over standard cable service. The difference is entirely in how the types of cables perform, as fiber optic cables are unmatched by standard cable service.
