I have a really common first name and a lot of people with my name go by nicknames. There's another girl on my floor with that same first name who goes by a nickname. Anyway, they put our full names on the GET app receipts and the same-name girl keeps throwing her food bags into the bathroom trash with her (our) name on them, when we're not supposed to put food trash in the bathroom. Today the woman who cleans our bathroom knocked on my door and asked me to stop putting my trash in the bathroom, which I've never done. I told her that it's a different person and that my last name is different, but she didn't believe me because no one else on the floor has that name on their door. They put our preferred names on our doors so same-name girl has the nickname on her door. I didn't tell the woman about this though because I'd feel like a dick for calling the same-name girl out. I don't know if it's the stress of this semester or my current workload or what, but I am so, so sad about this. The woman always says hi to me when she sees me and she was so nice about it, telling me to just give her the trash if I need to throw it out.
Leaving trash in there genuinely makes her job harder and some girls on my floor have been super shitty about it; there were worms in there a couple weeks ago. I hate that she thinks I'm the one doing this. Sorry if this was incomprehensible, just wanted to rant.
