Hopper windows are often found in basements. Fixed Glass Windows Fixed glass windows can be purely decorative and are often found over doors as transoms. They can? t be opened but can come in many shapes. They? re especially pretty when fitted with leaded or stained glass. Other Windows Other windows are bay and bow windows. (xpost from r/nursing as it seems much more appropriate here! ) Hello everyone. So I'm currently a respiratory therapist working for The Big Academic Medical Center in a charming but obscenely overpriced Bay Area city. I've been an RT for about two and half years now. For the most part I love it, it's an awesome job overall. But lately I've been thinking more and more about crossing over to the other side and becoming an RN. Even though I love respiratory, I want to take a greater part in my patients overall care. I took A&P, General and organic chemistry, Micro, and physics. I survived 2 years of RT school on top of that. But in the clinical setting nobody cares what I have to say if it isn't the heart or the lungs. And being so intensely specialized is honestly starting to drag on me a bit, especially when I see patients I KNOW I could help, but because my badge says RCP instead of RN there's nothing I can do. So here I am thinking about becoming an RN. But here's the rub, I don't have the money to quit my job an attend a traditional school.
