I just watched a deer kill itself in my back yard. Now I dont want to die so bad. A little background, where I live is a small city sandwiched between two extremely expansive woodlands. Deer are so prevalent that they are basically pests to us gardeners (even being the beautiful majestic creatures they are). Today we saw one in our backyard and tried to walk past it casually as we normally do. It was rightly scared of our dog and attempted to jump the fence which has a large pine tree right above. Somehow it hit the fence/tree branches and fell flat. It stood back up dazed and tried to run through a narrow gap between my roommates truck and the fence. It flopped around in there as it ran and somehow broke its neck. It writhed and seized in agony for about 30 min. We tried calling animal control, fish and wildlife, various vets to no avail. Eventually we got through to the local police. By the time they arrived it was dead. My wife started crying thinking it was her fault as she didn't hold our dog super close.
Even if such suggestions saw a 10% or 20% reduction in serious cases of Covid-19, this gets reported on, then more people get on board and take vitamin D in their preferred way. I am not saying vitamin D is a cure-all. It isn't. However, it appears to be effective enough that it can massively reduce serious cases and allow us to forget about lockdowns and other Draconian methods. And of mplete silence from the establishment about it. I include the medical establishment here too. Yes, there are publications online showing vitamin D's effectiveness in fighting respiratory diseases, but it's never given a proper platform so that it becomes a real talking point. One counterargument I hear is "the CDC recommend vitamin D on this government web page! " - but that's not the same as governments putting it out there at public addresses so media pick it up and it becomes a real talking point. It's not about "hurr durr the information is out there, Joe Schmo just needs to browse to that obscure government web page or read the scientific reports" - no, it's about why isn't the information put to the masses and become a talking point given its effectiveness.
